Northern Snowfall

On the second week of school we had two "cold days" because temps dropped below 0C (the lowest temp we had was -17F, -28F with the wind chill).  A week after, we got our first great snowfall, and another snow day haha.  When the temperature rose to at least above 10F, I went for my first snowy hike here in Marquette.  It was absolutely beautiful.  The way the snow falls on the trees is magical.  The forest is quiet except for when the wind tickles their branches shaking off dusts of snow which shimmer in the light.  The world is in a subconscious state under a soft blanket of snow and ice, and no picture can capture it's true brilliance.
